7 Annoying AF Things You Need to Stop Doing Online in 2016
I’m going to be honest, I have some slightly unhealthy online habits. I sometimes check the amount of Instagram likes I receive way too often, I hate read the tweets of random bigots I come across on Twitter (wow, a lot of people are very passionate about the idea that white genocide is real, interesting) and I’ve been known to subtweet every now and then, too. I’M HUMAN AND I CAN BE PETTY AF, LET ME LIVE.
But all of that pales in comparison to some of the messiness that other people engage in online. Like, why the hell can’t I admire Rowan Blanchard‘s Instagram pics without seeing people bullying her (and others) in the comment section? Why are people still happily sending anon hate on Tumblr? And why the hell are people still making jokes about being interested in social justice? How… 2013.
Were the aforementioned sounding a little familiar for you? Then you probably need to stop doing these seven annoying things online in 2016. How’s that for a New Year’s resolution?
