Amy Poehler Responds to Taylor Swift’s ‘Hell’ Comments in the Most Perfect Way Possible
It doesn’t get much better than Amy Poehler. The Parks and Recreation actress has responded to recent comments Taylor Swift made about her, and did so pretty perfectly. In the latest issue of Vanity Fair, Taylor opened up to the magazine about the harmless jab Amy and co-host Tina Fey made about her at the Golden Globes back in January.
Amy and Tina briefly joked during the awards show that the serial dating singer should “stay away” from Michael J. Fox‘s son, and said that she needed some “me” time. When the mag asked Taylor about that she said: “You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people, because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, ‘There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.'”
Well, now Amy has something (hilarious) to say about that. The actress told The Hollywood Reporter, ““Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff.”
Seriously, that has to be one of the greatest things ever said. Go, Amy!
