It looks like Alexander Ludwig could possibly be part of the Divergent cast. The Hunger Games actor sent out a tweet on Monday that read, “Screen testing for Divergent today,” but it was deleted shortly after. Was it deleted because of confidentiality? Or maybe it didn’t go so well, and he wanted to get rid of the evidence? Guess we’ll have to wait and see!

Though it’s not 100% known which role he read for, it’s more than likely that he’s up for the part of Four, the main love interest of Tris (Shailene Woodley) in the big screen adaptation of the YA dystopian novel. Alex has been after this role for a while, as he tweeted back in October, “Had an amazing meeting with Doug Wick (produced gladiator) about playing Four in Divergent. Need to get this one. Much love to the fans!”

The casting process for this role has been pretty lengthy, as other actors who have reportedly auditioned for the coveted role include I Am Number Four‘s Alex Pettyfer, X-Men: First Class star Lucas Till, Jeremy Irvine, and many more.

So far, Shailene and Oscar winner Kate Winslet are the only actresses who are confirmed to be in the film. Another actor who has been circling a role is rapper Romeo Miller, who tweeted about his audition. They should really get a leg up on casting, since filming is set to begin in Chicago this April!
