After Romeo’s Drew Ryan Scott Sued for Sexually Assaulting Former Bandmate

Drew Ryan Scott, a member of the group After Romeo, is being sued by former bandmate Devin Fox for alleged sexual harassment and battery.

Devin was hired by Drew in June 2012 when he was just 14 years old. That summer, according to the lawsuit filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by Superfame.com, the rest of the boys in the band told him the then-19-year-old was “into young boys.” The now-23-year-old allegedly gifted the now-20-year-old with a sex toy for his 15th birthday a couple months later and repeatedly urged him to use it until he finally agreed.

Drew allegedly also made Devin engage in phone sex with him and made him feel uncomfortable with inappropriate sexual gestures “[hundreds] of times.”

Devin is also suing Blake English, Jayk Purdy and T.C. Carter, who are currently still members of After Romeo, as well as former manager Jonnie Forster and his company, 4 Sound Entertainment, for negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The musician claims all of these individuals knew about what Drew was doing, but “did nothing and ratified such conduct” by allowing him to stay in the band.

The plaintiff also claims he was ridiculously overworked and underpaid during his time in the boy-band. Apparently, Devin usually worked six days a week, eight hours a day for, but would sometimes work 16-hour days when the group had rehearsals. The blond says he put in more than 9000 of work hours before he left the band in May 2015, but was only paid $6000.

Devin is seeking an unspecified amount of money in damages.

After Romeo rose to fame thanks to YouTube and now is often featured on Radio Disney. In addition to his time spent as a member of the group, Drew Ryan Scott has written songs for artists like Selena Gomez, The Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus.
