8 Big-Deal Actors You Didn’t Know Were Fired from Movies
Actors aren’t generally in the business of being unceremoniously fired from big movie projects. Otherwise, no film would ever be completed and producers would whittle away the days on a constant hunt to replace their talent.
However, like in the real world, it does happen every so often that, after having been cast and gotten self-pumped to being a part of the project, actors have been given the boot. On top of worrying about normal-people things, like money lost and possibly time wasted, the news getting out that you’ve been fired from a movie has got to be nothing short of embarrassing. But don’t take it from us! Just ask these eight actors, who were fired from films after being cast in their roles:
Alex didn't succeed at playing nice with Channing Tatum during the making of the first Magic Mike movie, having stirred up drama between the two by slighting one of Channing's personal friends and then blabbing all over town about the incident.
This all led to Alex being conspicuously excluded from the cast list of the second movie, for which everyone else, apart from Matthew McConaughey, was brought back to participate in.
