A Scream Queens Actress Was Sexually Assaulted by Someone She Knew
Keke Palmer kicked off 2017 by revealing that she is a victim of sexual abuse and now, sadly, another Scream Queens actress is opening up about the same thing. April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, which inspired Abigail Breslin, who plays Chanel #5 on the show, to open up about how she was sexually assaulted by someone who was not a stranger.
“I knew my assailant,” the 20-year-old actress captioned a picture on Instagram that depicts the importance of consent.
In addition to receiving tons of support from fans, celebrities like Debra Messing and Sarah Hyland also reached out to the Zombieland star to tell her how brave she is for breaking the stigma of sexual abuse.

The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence says that 14 to 25 percent of women will be sexually assaulted by an intimate partner in their lifetime, meaning that Abigail’s message is all the more important. It doesn’t matter if you’re dating a person, had sex with someone in the past, etc. — no means no in ALL cases.
